When Jesus Passes By
Mark 6:31–56 | After Jesus’s disciples return from their brief mission and report to Jesus all that happened, Jesus decides it would be good for them to get away to a desolate place to rest for a while. Mark 6:31–56 tells us the story of what happens, and it’s anything but restful! As Jesus and his disciples come toward the land, they are met by a large crowd of needy people. What happens over the next 24 hours on land and on sea will leave the disciples completely astonished at the Person they’ve left everything to follow.
