Let the Children Come to Jesus
Mark 10:13–16 | In this sermon, we work through our shortest text of this whole series on the Gospel of Mark. In this story, we see the most vivid picture in the entire Bible of Jesus’s care for little children. Jesus’s actions and attitude are set directly against those of his own disciples, who reject the little ones and their families. But not only do we see Jesus’s heart for children in this story, Jesus also teaches us powerfully from the children about the only kind of people who will ever enter his kingdom.
