CloseMark 8:1–21 | In Mark 8:1–21, we find Jesus feeding a large crowd with a few loaves of bread for the second time. Why does Jesus do this a second time, and why does Mark tell such a similar story in such close proximity to the feeding of the 5,000? Although the feeding itself is also important, perhaps the primary significance of this story is actually found in the discussion Jesus has in the boat with his disciples right after.
