CloseMark 10:1–12 | As Jesus enters a new region of ministry in the Gospel of Mark, the Pharisees immediately confront Jesus with a question about divorce. But it is clear that they are not asking Jesus this question to learn from Jesus but rather to trap Jesus. While his opponents want to focus on divorce, however, Jesus wants to talk about marriage. In Mark 10:1–12, we have the privilege of hearing directly from the Lord Jesus about what God does in marriage and what God’s will has always been for marriage.
