ClosePsalm 16 | Psalm 16 was certainly one of the most important Psalms in early Christian preaching, as can be seen in Peter’s sermon at Pentecost in Acts 2 and Paul’s sermon in Antioch of Pisidia in Acts 13. In this sermon, we turn back to the Psalm itself and work carefully through its confessions of allegiance to and trust in God. By doing so, we learn more of Jesus and his relationship to this Psalm and are challenged ourselves to join our hearts in with David’s song of confidence in the life-giving God.
