Sowing to the Spirit
Galatians 6:3–10 | From Galatians 5:13 to 6:10, Paul gives us his take on the Christian life and lays out his vision of Christian freedom. In this final sermon on this section, we consider Paul’s treatment of a variety of topics related to the Christian life, including pride, self-examination, the final judgment, supporting pastors, and the broad theme of doing good to all people, especially those in the family of God. Although these many topics are addressed in this text, at the heart of this text is what has been at the heart of this entire section: the need to keep following the Spirit’s lead, or, as Paul says in this text, to keep sowing to the Spirit.
