CloseGalatians 4:12–20 | Galatians 4:12–20 is one of the most personal passages in the book of Galatians, but it is also one of the least familiar. This text gives us a realistic picture of the work of the gospel: the risks, goals, and challenges of investing your life into the spiritual good of someone else. In this text, Paul rehearses his initial visit to the Galatians and expresses his confusion over what has happened to their relationship with one another. In this sermon, we walk carefully through the text, before exploring how this passage can shape or reshape our view of the work of the gospel.
