The Church, Jesus's Body

Church Foundations (2017)

Ephesians 1:22–2:18 | According to the New Testament, at the center of what God is doing in the world today is the church. Despite its many weaknesses and shortcomings, the church is loved and cherished by Christ. In the eyes of many, however, including even many Christians, there can be a tendency to seriously underestimate, undervalue, or underappreciate the significance of the church. In this sermon, we seek to allow Ephesians to reshape our minds about what the church is, about who the church is, and about the value Jesus himself places on the church, his body.
